Gerente de Marketing y Ventas B2B / Head of Growth

The opportunity

You will own one number: qualified first meetings with US mid-market buyers each month. That number comes from a single funnel you run across outbound, partner, and referral channels. You decide where the effort goes, you measure every stage, and you report the results.

This is a builder's role. You set up the lists, sequences, landing pages, and pipeline stages; put the reporting in place so the numbers show up every week without being asked; and turn what works into a documented playbook. You generate and qualify, and senior leadership closes. Your job is to make sure there is always a qualified meeting to take and a partner producing.

You will lead a small marketing and sales team covering content, design, web, and sales development, and you will grow it as the funnel proves out. You report to the CEO and present the funnel at the weekly leadership meeting and the monthly business review.

This role is a career path. Build the engine and deliver the numbers, and you are the person who runs sales and marketing as DevOcho continues to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Own the qualified-first-meeting number, reported weekly/monthly by channel: outbound, partner, and referral
  • Build and maintain the outbound engine: ideal customer profile, verified and enriched contact lists, outbound sequences, segment landing pages, paid campaigns, pipeline stages in the CRM, and a weekly funnel report that arrives without being asked
  • Direct content and the company podcast so they serve the funnel and are measured by the buyer conversations they create
  • Hire, onboard, and ramp sales development representatives on shared lists and sequences, and assess each one against the numbers
  • Run the partner channels: build partner target lists and enablement materials, onboard new partners with a working intake process, track pipeline by partner, and review each partner against what it produces
  • Run the referral program: the written offer, the ask cadence, the intro templates, and the tracking behind it
  • Keep the funnel honest: every deal staged and updated weekly, cost per meeting and cost per client reported monthly, misses flagged with a recovery plan rather than spun
  • Manage the marketing and sales budget like an investor: reallocate toward what works, cut what does not, and make the case for more with proof
  • Line-manage the marketing and sales team through written scorecards, monthly 1:1s, and written reviews, and hire as the team grows
  • Document every working channel and cadence as a playbook a new hire could run
  • Present funnel results at the weekly leadership meeting and the monthly business review

Ideal Profile

  • 5+ years in B2B demand generation, sales operations, channel or partner management, or revenue operations, with at least 2 years where you owned a pipeline number
  • You have personally run an outbound or paid funnel and can walk us through it with the numbers at every stage: sent, replied, positive, meetings held, closed
  • You have run a channel, referral, or alliance program and can show partner-sourced pipeline, or you have built an intake process that partners actually used
  • Bilingual: you run the team in Spanish and write to US executive buyers in English that needs no editing
  • Productive in Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot or an equivalent CRM, LinkedIn Ads, and a landing page builder, or able to become productive in them within your first 60 days without an agency
  • You report the real number when it is bad and bring the change, not the excuse
  • You have set weekly priorities for a small team and held them to it without the owner in the room
  • You kill losing channels fast and are immune to vanity metrics: followers, impressions, and awards are not outcomes here
  • Experience selling or marketing professional services, IT services, software development, or staffing to US mid-market buyers is a strong plus
  • Dominican residents and returnees with US B2B experience are encouraged to apply
  • Must be flexible with a can-do attitude and the ability to remain professional under high-pressure situations
  • Ability to retain and protect confidential material
  • Bonus: Experience in an ERP ecosystem (Acumatica, NetSuite, Dynamics, SAP Business One) or with manufacturing or industrial clients is a plus

What this role is not

  • Not a brand or content marketer. Content serves the funnel and is measured by the buyer conversations it creates
  • Not a one-person agency. You will help us build a team. The job is to run the team, not to do all of the work yourself.

How we will evaluate you

This role has a written scorecard with measurable outcomes and checkpoints during your first year. You will see it before you accept. The interview includes a practical exercise: you will analyze a sales funnel, tell us what went wrong, and describe what you would build in your first 60 days.

Our benefits and programs are designed to improve your life and your family’s.

  • Competitive salary
  • Christmas bonus: granted in accordance with current labor legislation.
  • Vacation: paid days off and rest time established in accordance with labor laws.

  • Extended paternity leave (14 days).
  • Monthly reimbursement for physical activities or gym membership up to RD$2,000/month.
  • DevOchista of the Month recognition.

  • Monthly fun and community service events.
  • Free Refreshment Fridays, featuring team presentations and a special incentive for the presenter.
